The training courses are conducted for officials at each management level to acquire the necessary knowledge pertaining to their respective areas of management.

2.General Course

I. Courses for New Recruits

New recruits courses are planned and implemented according to the levels of examinations that new recruits have passed to learn their duties and responsibilities as public officials, and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for basic Customs work.

New Recruits Course for Comprehensive Service Central Office New recruits (Comprehensive Service) learn their duties and responsibilities as public employees, and acquire knowledge and skills necessary for efficient Customs work.
New Recruits Course for General Service (University Graduate Level and Mid-Career) Central Office New recruits (University Graduate Level and Mid-Career) learn their duties and responsibilities as public employees, and acquire knowledge and skills necessary for efficient Customs work.
New Recruits Course for General Service (High School Graduates) Central Office New recruits (High School Graduates) acquire sense of responsibility as members of society, become aware of their duties and responsibilities as public employees, and acquire basic knowledge and skills necessary for efficient Customs work.

II.Courses for Experienced Officials

To acquire advanced knowledge of comprehensive Customs work, following courses are provided at the central office of the CTI.

Following technical courses are conducted at the respective levels of officials’ careers in Customs so that they can acquire relevant advanced knowledge to their specific fields of Customs work.

Professional Course for Unit Chief Officials Regional offices Unit chief officials acquire specialized knowledge and skills concerning their respective fields; Enforcement, Customs Clearance, and Post Clearance Audit, Investigation and Intelligence.
Special Technical Course (Practical) Central Office Assistant supervisors and unit chief acquire highly specialized knowledge and applied skills as core experts concerning their respective fields; Intellectual Property Rights, Rules of Origin, Customs Valuation and HS Classification.
Special Technical Course (Theoretical) Central Office Assistant supervisors and unit chief acquire high degree of specialized knowledge as experts concerning their respective fields; Intellectual Property Rights, Rules of Origin, Customs Valuation and HS Classification.
Special Technical Course Central Office Assistant supervisors and unit chief who need knowledge concerning Explosives, Criminal Investigation, Export Control, Intelligence Analysis, Authorized Economic Operator, Post Clearance Audit and Law Enforcement Techniques acquire highly specialized knowledge.
Practical Seminar Central Office Officials acquire updated knowledge and skills necessary for their respective fields, concerning legislation amendments and change of circumstances.

Customs Technical Cooperation Course (Advanced class) Central Office Experts with full of experiences in Customs Technical Cooperation and expertise, acquire the latest knowledge of WCO capacity building activities, high level of teaching skills, and project management methods.
Customs Technical Cooperation Course (Practical class) Central Office Unit chief officials with job experience in specific areas for Customs Technical Cooperation and intermediate or more advanced level of English, acquire the knowledge of specific areas and teaching skills.
Customs Technical Cooperation Course (Basic class) Central Office Officials with basic level of English, acquire the necessary knowledge of Customs Technical Cooperation.
