Virtual Workshop on Customs Administration for Asian and African countries
From 6 to 16 December 2021, the Virtual Workshop on Customs Administration for Asian and African countries was held under the activities of Customs technical cooperation.
Aiming to the modernization of each Customs, 10 Customs officials from Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Malawi, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tanzania and Zimbabwe attended the Workshop to understand various practices of Japan Customs and developed action plans to address the challenges of respective Customs administrations.

Virtual Workshop on Customs Modernization for the Philippines Customs
From 16 to 18 November 2021, the Virtual Workshop on Customs Modernization for the Philippines Customs was held under the activities of Customs technical cooperation.
Aiming to the modernization of Philippines Customs, 19 Philippines Customs officials deepened their understanding on the method and organizational structure of human resource development and chemical analysis thorough the lectures by Customs Training Institute and Central Customs Laboratory.

Virtual Workshop on Customs Valuation for Indonesia Customs
From 9 to 11 November 2021, the Virtual Workshop on Customs Valuation for Indonesia Customs was held under the activities of Japan Customs technical cooperation. Aiming to solve the challenges of Indonesia, 30 Indonesia Customs officials participated in discussions with Japanese Customs officials to enhance their knowledge on Customs Valuation.

Virtual Workshop on Trade Facilitation and Risk Management for Malaysian Customs
From 31 May to 2 June 2021, a Virtual Workshop on Trade Facilitation and Risk Management for Malaysian Customs was held under the activities of customs technical cooperation program.
16 Malaysian customs officials took a lecture by Japan Customs and had a discussion with trainers of CTI. At the end of the workshop, they presented an action plan for future implementation of the WTO TFA in Malaysian Customs.

WCO Asia/Pacific Regional Online Workshop on WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement
The WCO Asia/Pacific Regional Online Workshop on the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) was held from 19 to 21 April 2021 with the financial support of the WCO Customs Cooperation Fund of Japan (CCF/Japan). About 50 participants of over 20 Customs administrations attended the Workshop. The Workshop provided them with the information on the WCO’s tools and activities, as well as opportunities of information sharing and discussion among each other. The CTI officials also contributed to the Workshop as a source of moderators and presenters.

From 24 February to 11 March 2021, a Virtual Workshop on Customs Administration for the Asian, Middle Eastern and the African countries was held under the activities of customs technical cooperation program.
Aiming to the modernization of each Customs, 11 customs officials from Afghanistan, Malawi, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Zimbabwe created an action plan to solve the challenges of each country through understanding of the various methods of Japan Customs.

Virtual Workshop on Customs Administration for Central Asia and Caucasus countries
From 1 to 15 February 2021, a Virtual Workshop on Customs Administration for the Central Asia and the Caucasus countries was held under the activities of customs technical cooperation program.
Aiming to the modernization of each Customs, nine customs officials from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan created an action plan to solve the challenges of each country through understanding of the various methods of Japan Customs.
