| Attention When contacting by email, please keep the following in mind. ・Customs keeps lost items for international flights, which were found after security screening until boarding (departures) and from disembarkation until the customs inspection area (arrivals). ・Please ensure you can receive emails from the domain @customs.go.jp. ・Lost items are generally returned directly to the owner. If a representative collects the item, an authorization letter and a copy of the passport are required. ※A sample authorization letter is available. ・If the lost item contains something that can confirm ownership, please include it in your email.
