Anti-Smuggling Operations
Customs maintains close contact with the National Police Agency, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and other related authorities, exchanging information. Customs cargo inspections are carried out in close communication with these agencies in order to interdict smuggling of explosives and illegal export of articles related to WMD.
