Improvement of Trade Statistics (Search)

Search function of two searches on the page, Trade Statistics (Search), will be improved. By this functional improvement, time series data of a commodity or a principle commodity will be searchable under more variety of search conditions.

The improved search function will be available from 21:30 on March 5th, 2010. In this connection, for system maintenance, Trade Statistics (Search) will be closed temporally between 18:30 and 21:30 on March 5th, 2010.

(Searches that will be improved)

• Monthly Data for Commodity, in Commodity Information of General Trade Statistics
• Monthly Data for Principal Commodity, in Principal Commodity Information of General Trade Statistics

(Points of Improvement)

1. Expansion of search period
   In addition to Single-year as the current method, Multi-year will be newly selectable. Therefore, you can have long- and mid- term time series data in a single search.
   

1. Addition of types of time series
   In addition to Monthly basis as the current method, Yearly, Half-yearly and Quarterly bases will be newly selectable.
   

1. Addition of Customs by Jurisdiction
   In addition to All Customs and a Single Customs Branch as the current methods, Customs by Jurisdiction will be newly selectable.
   

1. Addition of types of areas
   In addition to World and a Single Country as the current methods, Geographic Area (e.g. Asia, Middle East), Economic Area (e.g. EU, ASEAN) and Continental Area (e.g. Asia Continent, Europe Continent) will be newly selectable.
