8004 Schedule for the Qualifying Examination for Registered Customs Specialists (FAQ)


  The detailed schedule for the Qualifying Examination for Registered Customs Specialists will be made available in the Official Gazette in early July each year. The rough schedule of the examination is as follows:

  The examination booklets and application forms will be available from early July to the application due date in early August at the Regional Customs in charge of the examination site (selected by applicants from Hokkaido, Niigata, Tokyo, Miyagi, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Aichi, Osaka, Hyogo, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Okinawa).

  The examination application should be submitted to the Regional Customs in charge of the preferred examination site within two weeks beginning from late July.
  The examination will be held in early October every year, and the test results will be announced publicly in early November each year.
