4024 Overview of the Elimination or Reduction in Tariffs under the AJCEP Agreement
Based on the AJCEP, the tariff is scheduled to be eliminated for roughly 92% of the value of commerce between Japan and ASEAN member nations (approx. 91% of export from Japan and approx. 93% of import from the ASEAN region) within 10 years from when the agreement is put into force.

(c) Salted eggplants ⇒ Tariff elimination in 10 years
(d) Processed curry products ⇒ Tariff elimination in seven years

(f) Processed chicken products ⇒ Tariff elimination

- Apples, peaches, grapes, pears and Chinese yam ⇒ Tariff elimination
II. Industrial products

- Tariff elimination for virtually all mining and industrial products within 10 years
