Ａ Most parcels presented to Customs by Japan Post Co., Ltd. are immediately cleared and delivered.


However, for items that are subject to taxation, require confirmation under other relevant laws and regulations, or items for which importation is restricted or prohibited, Customs must process the taxation or make inquiries to the recipient(importer).


Customs clears parcels in the order in which they are presented by Japan Post.
