I received a “Notice of Customs Procedure -” and “Notice of Commencement of Verification Procedures”

Ｑ I received a “Notice of Customs Clearance Procedure for Postal Matters from Abroad” and “Notice of Commencement of Verification Procedures(Customs Form C5812/5813)”. What should I do?


Ａ First, please follow the procedures regarding the “Notice of Commencement of Verification procedures.” Without this procedure, mail cannot be received(imported) or returned to the sender.
Once you have completed the procedures pertaining to the Notice of Commencement of Verification procedures, please follow the procedure indicated in the “連絡事項欄(RENRAKUJIKOURAN)” section of the “Notice of Customs Clearance Procedure for Postal Matters from Abroad.”
