Jurisdiction of Tokyo Overseas Mail Sub-Branch Customs

Tokyo Overseas Mail Sub-Branch Customs handles import and export clearance of postal items handled by Tokyo International Post Office of Japan Post Co., LTD.


○Import Postal Items
We only handle Express Mail Service (EMS) to destinations north of Niigata, Nagano, and Shizuoka Prefectures (areas marked in red on the map below).

○Export Postal Items
We handle air parcels including EMS dispatched from areas north of the Kanto region, as well as Niigata and Yamanashi Prefectures.
Additionally, we handle the air parcels and Surface Air Lifted (SAL) parcels (printed matter only) that are dispatched from areas north of Niigata, Nagano, Gifu, and Mie Prefectures.
