3. Description of Items

Regarding a mail item that arrived, the tariff rate and amount could not be determined and customs clearance could not be completed because the material(composition), purpose of use and import of goods were unknown.

Please inform Tokyo Overseas Mail Sub-branch Customs of the material(composition), purpose of use and import (for sale, joint purchase, agent purchase, etc.) of the contents. If you have any descriptions of goods such as catalogs, please submit them to Customs.

Additionally, if you have any clearance records for the same goods, please let us know the tariff classification of goods(HS code) on the Import Declaration Form or Notice of Assessment of Duties and Taxes Postal Matters for reference.
