Summary of Advance Filing Rules on Cargo, Crew and Passenger Information
With a view to enhancing anti-terrorism action and the security of international trade by preventing terrorism in Japan and international organized crime, the Customs Law was amended to include the obligatory advance filing rules on cargo, crew and passenger information of the vessels and aircrafts. The amendment will come into force on 1st February 2007.
