This is a procedure required when a person desires to undergo examination at a place other than designated by the Director-General of Customs.

- Prepare the following application and submit it to the customs clearance section of the customs office that performs import or export examination or of the customs office that controls the customs warehouse where import or export goods are stored.

- A protest may be filed to the Director-General of Customs within the two months from one day after the date when the applicant acknowledged of the disposition on the application mentioned above.

- The applicant is required to submit two copies of application, and revenue stamps equivalent to permit fees must be affixed at the top of the rear side of one of the applications.
