[ Subjects to procedure]
- A person who owns the goods accommodated and who wants to withdraw them
[ Time of submission]
- Submit your application before the goods accommodated are sold at public auction or disposed of (usually this is after an elapse of four months from the date when the goods were accommodated). However, the applicant is required to submit an application by the last day of the period of accommodation when the period of accommodation is shortened according to the provisions of Article 84 Paragraph 2 of the Customs Law.

- Prepare an application and documents to be attached and submit them to the section stated below.
[ Fee]
- There is no charges for application. However, the applicant is required to pay the expenses for accommodating the goods and their accommodation charges.
[D ocuments to be attached and number of copies]
1.  Documents that certify the withdrawal of the goods accommodated is reliable (such as import permit, approval for withdrawal before import permit, export permit, reshipment permit, approval of transportation, application for the approval on storage in Customs warehouses, approval of carry-in, application for approval of carry-in into comprehensive bonded area, etc.)
2.  Letter of approval by the pledgee or lienholder for the cancellation of accommodation when the owner of the goods has established the right of pledge or lien since the time when the owner asked for the accommodation
Submit two copies of them.

- Submit the application to the hozei section of the customs office that processed the said accommodation.

- Office hours of customs (8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays of the administration organ).

1. That withdrawal of the goods accommodated is reliable
2. That a letter of approval by the pledgee or lienholder for the cancellation of the accommodated goods is obtained if the owner of the goods has established the right of pledge or lien
3. That the expenses for accommodation and the accommodation charges have been paid

- A protest may be lodged to the Director-General of Customs within the two months from one day after the date when the applicant learned of the disposition on the declarations mentioned above.
