- The approved person is required to submit a report without delay when he or she has failed to load the stores onto the said ship or aircraft within the specified period of time and brought them back into a customs area.

- Prepare the following declaration forms and documents and submit them to the hozei section of the customs office that issued approval for loading the said stores of a vessel or aircraft.

- Submit documents to the hozei section of the customs office having jurisdiction over the customs area where the unloaded stores of a vessel or aircraft of foreign goods were brought back.

1.  When bringing back stores of a vessel or aircraft to a customs area, fill in two copies of the "Certificate of Bringing Back Stores of a Vessel or Aircraft" with "Approval for Loading of Ship's (on Aircraft's) Stores of Foreign Goods (confirmation of loading)" attached; submit them to the hozei section of the customs office having jurisdiction over the said customs area; and obtain approval of carry-in from the customs official of the hozei section.
2.  In case the said stores of a vessel or aircraft are returned to a customs area other than the previous customs warehouse, customs manufacturing warehouse, or integrated customs area, from which the articles were carried out, the applicant is required to submit an "Approval for Storage (carry-in) in Customs Warehouse" or an "Approval for Storage (carry-in) in Integrated Customs Area" for the return.
3.  Documents confirming the carry-in at item 1 above must be attached to a "Approval for Loading of Ship's (on Aircraft's) Stores of Foreign Goods (confirmation of loading)" before they are submitted to the guard section of the customs office that issued approval for loading the stores of a vessel or aircraft.
