Renewal of Trade Statistics (Data Download)

 Due to the renewal of Trade Statistics System, the page for data download on this website will be improved.
 The new page will be available from 9:45 on Feb. 27th, 2009.

 On the new page, more statistics tables will be available, and a link to the Portal Site of Official Statistics of Japan (e-Stat) will be introduced.

(Points of Improvement)

1. Increase of Statistics Tables and Revision of Data Formats
    17 types of statistics tables will be added on the page for data download: 11 types (paper-based)[i] have been available only at the Trade Statistics Reference Room, and 6 types [ii] will be newly created.
    Moreover, CSV file formats will be available in stead of PDF file formats in order to increase convenience for spread sheet software users.

2. Addition of “Special Trade” (Detailed) Data
   The monthly detailed data of “Special Trade” will be available each month on the page for data download, though only the monthly fixed data have been published once a year.
   


3. Link to the e-Stat
   The statistics tables will be put on the e-Stat. We are transferring the statistics tables into the e-Stat, and all the data will be available on it by the end of this March.
   The page for data download on this website will be linked to the e-Stat, therefore data download service will be useable continuously on the e-Stat by clicking on the links.
