Simplification of preferential rules of origin under GSP for knitted apparel (HS Chapter 61)

Japan has simplified preferential rules of origin under GSP for Chapter 61 of the HS (articles of apparel and clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted) based on the amendment of relevant Customs regulations.
With the amendment, products classified in Chapter 61 are qualified as originating goods when the products are manufactured from fabrics. This simplification measure is applicable from April 1st, 2015.
