- Submit your notification as early as possible so that you could suspend or discontinue the operation of the customs manufacturing warehouse within the period of permission.

- Prepare your notification and submit it to the customs office stated below.

- Application for Suspension (Discontinuance) of Customs Manufacturing Warehouses (Customs Form C No. 3180): One copy (Two copies when applying through a customs branch)

- Submit your application to a hozei section official of the customs office having jurisdiction over the area where the said customs manufacturing warehouse is located.

- Customs may ask the notifier to submit a list of foreign goods if they are left in the customs manufacturing warehouse which is scheduled to be suspended or discontinued.
- When the notifier, who submitted a notification of suspension of operation, intends to resume operation, he is required to go through a resumption procedure for operation.
