- Procedure required when a person intends to use a duty-exempted container with goods in internal traffic by a reasonably direct routine route between the place where the said goods were disembarked and the place where export goods are to be embarked (place to load the container for export when no additional goods are embarked in the container)

- Notification of Using duty-exempted Containers in internal traffic (Customs Form A No. 1090):Two copies (three copies when the customs office through which the duty-exempted container(s) were imported is different from the customs office that processes this notification)

- Submit your notification to a hozei section official of the customs office having jurisdiction over the place where the container(s) were imported or the place that domestic transportation starts.

2. Whether the container(s) are transported through the routine route between the place where the import goods were disembarked and the place to load export goods (or the place to embark goods for export)

- The customs office may ask the notifier to submit a copy of a bill of lading, etc. to confirm whether the said "container(s) were imported with goods."
- The said container(s) may not be used more than once in internal traffic before being re-exported.
