(Procedure for import/export declaration)
[ Summary]
- For goods for satellites and other space development and for materials that are difficult to obtain in Japan by a manufacturing plant that obtained prior approval from the Director-General of Customs, the manufacturing plant may import such goods and materials with an exemption of import duties. However, the manufacturing plant is required to notify customs when the plant is going to change the place of use of these goods and materials within the two years after obtaining the import permit.
