8006 Examination Sites and Application Submission for the Qualifying Examination for Registered Customs Specialists (FAQ)
The Qualifying Examination for Registered Customs Specialists will be held in 13 prefectures nationwide: Hokkaido, Niigata, Tokyo, Miyagi, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Aichi, Osaka, Hyogo, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Okinawa.
Applications must be submitted to the Regional Customs in charge of the preferred examination site.
Any person who wishes to submit applications to the Tokyo Customs, Yokohama Customs, Nagoya Customs, and Kobe Customs must select and specify one of the two examination sites controlled by each Customs on application forms and admission cards.
Applicants are also allowed to submit application forms and fees by using the Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System (NACCS). For detailed information on NACCS procedures, please see the website of the NACCS, Inc.
The applicants will be notified of their examination site with the admission card.
